Opening Cizgen

Open the Cizgen panel inside AutoCAD with the CIZGEN command and dock it where you want.

Cizgen is a dockable panel (an AutoCAD palette) that sits alongside your drawing. You keep working in AutoCAD as usual; the panel is where you talk to the assistant.

Open the panel

At the AutoCAD command line, type:

CIZGEN

Press Enter and the Cizgen panel opens. Run the command again any time you have closed it.

The command is CIZGEN. If you also installed a development build, that one opens with CIZGENDEV and is clearly labelled "Cizgen (dev)".

Dock and resize it

The panel behaves like any other AutoCAD palette:

  • Dock it to the left or right edge, or let it float.
  • Resize it by dragging its edge.
  • Auto-hide it (the pin icon) to reclaim screen space when you are not using it.

Cizgen is designed to be narrow, so it works well docked in a slim column next to your drawing without covering your work.

First time you open it

The first thing to do is sign in — the assistant needs an account to run. Continue to Signing in.
