How credits work
Cizgen is pay-as-you-go. Credits are spent only when you run a task, cost depends on the model and the work done, and new accounts start with free credits.
Cizgen is pay-as-you-go. There's no subscription — you buy credits and spend them only when you run a task.
The basics
- You spend credits only when you run a task. Reading these docs, opening the panel, or signing in costs nothing.
- Cost depends on the work. A short request costs less than a long, multi-step one, and a more powerful model costs more than a cheaper one.
- Your balance is always visible in the panel's top bar.
- Credits never expire.
Free credits to start
New accounts begin with 100 free credits, so you can try Cizgen right away without buying anything.
What a credit is
A credit is a small unit of value (one credit equals one US cent of usage). Each task is billed from your balance based on the actual AI usage it needed, at a rate that also covers the cost of running the service. The cost multiplier and context gauge help you estimate this before and after a run.
Running low? The balance turns amber when it's getting low and red at zero, and you can top up any time. See Buying credits.
Cost and context
Read the cost multiplier on each model and the context gauge above the prompt, so you always know what a task will cost and how much room the model has.
