The Tools selector

Enable or disable which abilities Cizgen may use, and understand which are on by default.

The Tools selector lets you control which of Cizgen's abilities are available for your requests. Most are enabled by default; a couple of advanced ones are off until you turn them on.

Turning abilities on and off

Open the Tools selector in the panel and toggle abilities on or off. The set you enable is what Cizgen may use for your next request. This is useful to:

  • Constrain the assistant — for example, keep it read-only while you're just exploring.
  • Enable an advanced ability when a task needs it.

Defaults

  • On by default — the everyday abilities (reading, measuring, drawing, checking, and so on).
  • Off by default — the two scripting abilities (read-only query and batch draw). Enable them only when a task calls for scripting.

Turning an ability off doesn't change the approval gate — writing always requires your approval regardless of which tools are enabled.
