What is a credit?

Credits are the unit of AI work. A typical task costs roughly 30–80 credits depending on how much of the drawing the AI has to read, look at and edit — cheaper models go considerably further, and each model shows its rate in the panel before you run anything.

Do unused credits roll over?

No. Your allowance refreshes at the start of every month and doesn't accumulate. Credits you bought before we moved to plans are the exception — those never expire and are spent only after the month's allowance runs out.

What happens when I run out mid-month?

On Pro or Studio you can add your own provider API key and keep working with no credit cost at all, or move up a plan. On Free the way forward is Pro. Nothing is ever charged automatically.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes, both ways. Upgrading takes effect immediately: you're charged the prorated difference and the bigger allowance is available right away. Downgrading also applies immediately, but nothing is refunded and this month's credits stay with you — the lower price simply starts at the next renewal.

Can I cancel?

Any time, from the customer portal. Access continues until the end of the period you already paid for, then the account returns to Free.

Is Cizgen MCP included?

Yes, in Pro and Studio. Free accounts get a 14-day MCP trial that starts when you generate your first API key — no card required. Through MCP the AI runs in your own app (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor…), so it spends no Cizgen credits.

Do I need a credit card to try Cizgen?

No. The Free plan needs nothing but a Google sign-in, and the MCP trial is card-free too.
