Which apps work with it?
Any MCP host. Claude Desktop gets a one-click installer; Claude Code, Cursor, and VS Code get a copy-paste config — and anything else that speaks MCP works the same way.
What do I need?
Windows with AutoCAD 2025–2026, the Cizgen plugin (free download), and an MCP host. The npx-based setups also need Node.js 20+ — Claude Desktop's installer doesn't.
Do I need the Cizgen panel too?
No. The in-app panel (pay-as-you-go credits, built-in AI) and Cizgen MCP (flat subscription, your AI) are independent — the plugin install is shared, and you can use either or both.
Is my drawing uploaded anywhere?
Not to Cizgen — the server is local and cizgen.app is only contacted to verify your subscription. What the AI reads goes to your AI provider through your chat app, like anything else you discuss there.
What happens after the trial?
The $20/month subscription starts. Cancel any time before the trial ends and you won't be charged — billing is handled by Lemon Squeezy.
