Cizgen MCP
Use Cizgen from Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, or VS Code — driving the drawing open in AutoCAD with your own AI subscription.
Cizgen MCP is a second way to use Cizgen. Instead of the in-app panel, you talk to the AI app you already use — Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, or VS Code — and it drives the drawing open in AutoCAD through the same Cizgen tools the panel uses.
It works over MCP (Model Context Protocol), the open standard these apps use to connect to external tools. The AI runs on your own subscription — Claude Pro/Max, Cursor Pro, GitHub Copilot — so Cizgen doesn't meter tokens or charge credits. Cizgen MCP is a flat $20/month with a 7-day free trial.
Everything runs on your machine: the MCP server is a small local program, and it talks to AutoCAD over a private local connection that only your Windows user account can access. cizgen.app is contacted only to verify your subscription — your drawing data never goes to Cizgen's servers. (Drawing content the AI reads flows to your AI provider through the chat app, exactly like anything else you discuss there.)
Panel or MCP?

You can use both — they don't conflict, and the subscription and credits are separate.
What you need
- Windows with AutoCAD 2025–2026 and the Cizgen plugin version 1.0.10 or newer (Download).
- An MCP host: Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, or VS Code (with Copilot agent mode).
- A Cizgen MCP subscription and an API key from the MCP dashboard.
